About
The Founder
Ms. Somya Sud Bhardwaj is an accomplished dancer, choreographer, and educator with a rich 12-year career in the performing arts. Over the years, she has helped develop dance programs for leading educational institutions across India and has also successfully partnered with top brands like DLF, Yakult, Select group and JBL.
With over 14 musical theatre productions successfully executed, including breathtaking renditions of Broadway classics and original masterpieces, Somya and her team recognised the complexities and fragmented processes typically associated with such artistic endeavors and decided to create a more holistic model for the same. A comprehensive in-house approach was devised which means that from the conceptualization to the curtain call, every aspect of the production — direction, choreography, theatre coaching, and more — is meticulously managed in-house to ensure a streamlined creative process and a cohesive and harmonious realization of the artistic vision.
Somya's training in diverse dance styles such as jazz, contemporary, ballet, hip-hop, Kathak, and KalariPayyatu, forms the bedrock of her distinctive and captivating storytelling through movement.
In 2023, she established Five-0-Five | House of Dance, driven by a commitment to offer honest and original contributions in the field of dance and movement design. The company intends to cultivate the talents of both dancers and educators, providing a foundation for growth, creativity, and excellence in the art of dance.
